Easter is one of those holidays that can be tough with a food allergic child. No child should have to go without the pleasure of eating chocolate bunnies, right? These dairy free chocolate bunnies are a cinch to make, and the kids will love getting candy they can actually eat!

    dairy free chocolate easter bunny

    Makes two 6 inch bunnies

1 ½ cup dairy free chocolate chips (We love Enjoy Life's semi-sweet mini chips)
bunny mold (from your local craft store)

Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave for about 1 minute. Stir well, and pour evenly into your bunny molds. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to an hour, until set and firm. Gently remove your bunnies from the molds and wrap.

Here are some great stir-in options for your bunnies:
    chopped pretzels
¼ cup peanut butter or sunflower butter
    chopped bacon
    raisins
tablespoon or two of Rice Krispies

    Happy Easter!
