Whipped cream can be a tough item to replace if you’re avoiding dairy, but thankfully there are a few delicious options out there. I recently tried this dairy-free whipped cream from Forager and it quickly became one of my new favorites.

My notes about this dairy-free whipped cream
This whipped cream comes in tub form and has a texture similar to Cool Whip. It has a heavier, thicker consistency in comparison to fresh whipped cream, without being as weighted as ice cream.
What I liked about this dairy-free whipped cream is that it’s not overly sweet and doesn’t have any weird aftertaste. It’s rich, smooth, and tastes naturally sweetened without any strange chemical flavor to it. It’s sold in the refrigerator section of the store, which means you don’t have to wait for it to thaw or soften when you need it.
I enjoy this product with fresh berries, shortcakes, ice cream sundaes, pies, or parfaits. I tried this in my iced coffee and it was just too heavy and thick. It doesn’t melt in your cold beverages, so you’re left with a hard ball of cream floating around. Use this to top your traditional desserts and I think you’ll love this product!
