Spring is in the air, and this sangria is perfect for those warm days in the sun. Light, fruity, and refreshing, it’s the perfect cocktail to accompany some relaxing “mommy time”. For a lighter version you can eliminate the Grand Marnier, but it does add a nice touch to the drink. Don’t have any fresh fruit? Keep some frozen smoothie fruit on hand. Not only does the fruit help to keep the drink chilled, it also adds great flavor.
1 glass of sangria
8 oz white wine
splash of Grand Marnier
splash or two of white grape juice
Raspberry Lime sparkling spring water
a handful of your choice of fresh fruit (cherries, strawberries, peaches, green apples, and orange slices work great in this)
Fill your glass with ice. Add a splash of Grand Marnier, splash or two of white grape juice, your fruit, and fill almost to the top with wine. Stir. Add a splash of the spring water, and sip away!
