Happy Friday, mamas! Hopefully the weather where you are is as beautiful as it is here in New England today (minus those pesky May flies). With the warm weather approaching us, I find myself craving all things cold; cold beer, cold sangrias, cold pasta and potato salads, and ice cream. Lots and lots of ice cream (dairy free of course). My recent obsession for green smoothies has done an amazing job of satisfying my craving for that big bowl of calorie filled creamy goodness. So this Friday, take-5, sit back, and sip on something green. The nutritional benefits are unbelievable, benefiting everything from your skin and hair to your digestion. Smoothies only take minutes to whip up, taste delicious, and help to curb those cravings. So bottoms up mamas! Here’s to another week! 😉
Keep in mind that these recipes are just guides. When it comes to smoothies, the possibilities are endless. Some of favorite ingredients to add to my smoothies are kale, mango, strawberries, banana, mint, coconut water, kiwi, cucumber, and spinach.
