This cozy bowl of oats is the perfect way to start your morning. Bursting with warm juicy blueberries, naturally sweet flavors, and hearty, fiber-rich oats, it’ll fuel your morning and keep you full for hours!

Instructions

  • Add your water and salt to a medium-sized pot and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  • Stir in the oats and maple syrup, and reduce the temperature to medium-low. Cook for about 20 minutes with the lid off, stirring occasionally so the oats don't stick to the bottom and burn. You'll want to cook them until the liquid is absorbed.
  • Gently fold in the blueberries and cook for five more minutes.
  • Let rest, covered, for five minutes, then scoop into bowls and add optional toppings if you'd like (see suggestions in the post above). I like to top mine with more blueberries and a drizzle of peanut butter. Enjoy!
