Ingredients
You only need a handful of simple ingredients, and they're all easy to find at your local grocery store.

- Greek-style yogurt: I used plain unsweetened dairy-free Cocojune
- Chipotle peppers in adobo: these give the sauce its signature smoky heat
- Honey: a little sweetness balances the smoky spice of the chipotle
- Fresh lime juice: brightens the sauce and keeps it from feeling too heavy
- Paprika: adds extra smokiness and color

How to make creamy chipotle lime sauce
This sauce couldn't be easier, and it comes together in just a couple of minutes.

Step 1: Add all of your ingredients to a high-speed blender.

Step 2: Blend until smooth. Taste for seasoning and adjust to your liking.
Tips
Start with less chipotle.
Chipotle peppers can vary in heat, so start small and add more if you want the sauce spicier.
Use thick yogurt.
Thicker yogurt creates a richer sauce that works well for drizzling or spreading.
Adjust the consistency.
If you want a thinner sauce for tacos or bowls, stir in a teaspoon or two of water or lime juice.
Let the flavors develop.
Even a short rest in the fridge helps the flavors blend.

- Grilled chicken or steak

It's also great as a dip for crispy potatoes or sweet potato fries.
Storage
Store the sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It will stay fresh for 4-5 days. Stir before using, as the yogurt might separate slightly.
