Need some dairy free snacks? This list has over 150 ideas! All of these snacks are milk free, nondairy, lactose free, and delicious. The list includes a little bit of everything including healthy snacks with fresh vegetables, homemade dairy free treats, store-bought options, and more. You'll find plenty of options for everyone from toddlers through adults, and lots of ideas for school. I hope you find plenty of snack inspiration and maybe a new favorite!

An important note: We do not have a life-threatening allergy in my house and we are not medical professionals. You must read every label every time you purchase a food item to confirm it is still dairy free. Ingredients often change, and for your safety, it is important to confirm that milk has not been added to any of these items. Although I try my best to keep this website up-to-date, ingredients for these items can change at any given time. If you do have an allergy, be sure to also check that these items haven't added a "may contain milk" warning to the label.
This list is just a sample of what works for our family, and you should always do what's best for your body, safety, and health.
Happy snacking!

Snacks with vegetables
Vegetables are a great option for dairy free snacks. Some studies show that introducing children early in life to vegetables can increase the likelihood that they'll like vegetables later in life. When my son was young we introduced him to lightly steamed and roasted vegetables so they were soft enough to eat. Now he's a teenager and enjoying adult snacks, which include lots of raw vegetables. You can dip them, top them with some seasoning, or blend them into a smoothie. The best part of veggie snacks is that there's hardly any preparation required. Just wash, chop, and enjoy! Here are some that we like:

Broccoli littles are made in a plant that also processes milk, not guaranteed dairy free in that case. Important if the diet is not just a lifestyle choice but an actual allergy.

My major concern with an item on this list, is how can you have an oreo without creme? And last time I knew, creme was made from milk.
