Yoplait has added to their dairy-free yogurt options again, this time offering dairy-free Go-Gurt! If you aren't familiar with Go-Gurt, it's a kid friendly, squeezable tube of yogurt that's easy for kids to tear open and perfect for toddlers. This new vegan option is made from a coconut creme base, and is free from dairy, gluten, soy, artificial colors, and high fructose corn syrup. This is not a safe product for those with nut allergies, as it does contain coconut and may contain almond ingredients. The packaging also comes with a warning that it may be difficult for children under 5 to swallow it if it 's frozen.
The ingredients according to the package are:
Coconut Base (Water, Coconut Cream), Sugar, Modified Tapioca Starch, Contains 1% Or Less Of: Tricalcium Phosphate, Salt, Beet Juice Concentrate Color, Natural Flavor, Potassium Sorbate Added To Maintain Freshness, Cultures (S. Thermophilus, L. Bulgaricus, Bifidobacterium Lactis, L. Acidophilus), Vitamin D2, Vitamin B12.
Strawberry is the only flavor currently available, but Yoplait will hopefully be adding more variations if the new launch is a success. It's cultured with four different probiotic strains, and typically sells for $3.99 for a package of 8 tubes. You can find it in major grocers across the U.S. and also at Target.
